Rebuild Superior, Inc. received a Golden Prospector Award of Merit at the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) 2025 Fall Forum, held this week in Prescott. Created by AAED, the Golden Prospector awards encourage and recognize excellence in economic development from communities across the State of Arizona.
The Award of Merit acknowledges the Succeed in Superior, AZ website, launched earlier this year to serve as the primary marketing tool developed in support of the Town of Superior’s economic development goal of business recruitment and/or expansion.
Additionally, Manuel “Manny” Guzman V, Executive Director of Rebuild Superior, Inc. received his AZED Pro certification. AAED’s Academy offers the only state-specific economic development certification in Arizona — the Arizona Economic Development Professional (AZED Pro) certification. This certification caps the successful completion of a series of courses offering a comprehensive overview of key areas like business retention, attraction and workforce development, providing a solid foundation in the field.
