The Phoenix Business Journal reports that since 2020, Arizona has attracted more than $205 billion in semiconductor investment—more than any other state.

TSMC, the world’s leading semiconductor foundry, has announced an impressive $165 billion investment in Arizona to date, with global companies Apple, NVIDIA, AMD and Qualcomm all agreeing to buy chips from Arizona. Intel has also announced more than $32 billion in investments in Arizona to build two new fabrication facilities.

The future of the U.S. semiconductor industry will be shaped by bold collaboration—and Arizona is at the forefront. Boasting a vibrant innovation ecosystem, renowned universities and strong industry partnerships, the state is establishing a new national benchmark for what can be achieved.
