The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Panther Drive Bridge, located in Superior, celebrates a critical public safety project that:
• replaces a hazardous low-water crossing vulnerable to flash floods;
• improves safety and reliability for emergency responders, school transportation and local residents;
• features multimodal enhancements to support pedestrians and cyclists; and
• was supported by $3.5 million in state funding and Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA) financing.
